Friends of Woodfield (FOW) is a small group of parents/carers, grandparents and friends that regularly help with various school social events and fundraisers, such as Summer/Christmas fairs, school discos and events like Books at Bedtime.   

FOW meet throughout the year to plan for any upcoming event and the different jobs that need to be complete to make the event successful.  These include jobs such as serving sweets and drinks or help with signing children in and out at the discos; getting raffle prizes from various local and city companies and businesses to raffle off at our fairs.  FOW have also supported classes such as year 6 in making cakes etc and helped to raised money for end of term events.

The profit that is made from all the events across the year is used to support the school in different ways buying resources for the outside environment, purchasing hoodies for the Year 6 leavers and contributing towards trips for the children. 

We realise that many of our parents/carers and grandparents have very busy lives and where we would like to have regular help all the time, we appreciate this is not always possible.  Whatever time you can offer is great for us and really supports our school.
